Fees & Insurance

Today’s troubled economy has created financial challenges for virtually all of us. My fees reflect what I believe is fair compensation based on my education, expertise, and the quality of my work.

However, if you’re facing severe financial hardship, we can discuss the possibility of a reduced fee during our initial consultation session.

Payment by check, cash, or VISA/MasterCard is due at the time of each session. Here are my fees:

Insurance

If you choose to use insurance, I’ll provide you with what you need to seek reimbursement for my services as an out-of-network licensed psychologist. Please ask your insurance company whether your policy covers out-of-network behavioral/mental health care and, if so, what that amount is.

My decision not to join insurance panels means that I provide only minimal information in order for you to get reimbursed. This allows me to avoid revealing highly private, sensitive details about our work. It also means that you and I (not an insurance company clerk) decide on therapy goals, approaches, and length of treatment.
