Investing In Yourself

By working hard in therapy, you're investing in your own wellbeing.

Yes, therapy costs money. It also demands your time and effort. You can't transform yourself and your life without working at it.

The plain and simple truth is that, as a therapist, I don’t have a magic wand that would provide a quick fix for what’s distressing you. The same applies to medications. Although antidepressants and other drugs may offer some relief to some people, they don't treat the root causes.

The good news is that psychotherapy IS designed to address problems at their source. Good therapy can offer new ways of understanding yourself and your situation. It also can help you develop and apply new skills to achieve healing, growth, and change.

If you invest in yourself by working at this process, not only are you likely to feel better and deal more successfully with problems NOW. You also may gain insights, tools, and resilience that can help you confront new challenges in the FUTURE.

Now that's a great return on your investment!
